Last night I had the opportunity to attend Lift Detroit's Black Tie Gala. I met a lot of wonderful people who are all doing their part in encouraging and motivating change in our great city. The Proceeds went to Cascading Krystals. Cascading Krystals is a Metro-Detroit non-profit organization that promotes academic success for disabled students in the community by providing one-on-one guidance through essential mentoring and tutoring skills in addition to character and team-building social activities. The organization advocates in the improvement of psychological health and social connections, areas in which many students suffer. Cascading Krystals is dedicated to aiding students in the balancing of home, social, and educational lives.
